Glow Worm Boiler

Hi

I've just moved to a new property with a Glow worm 30Si boiler, a mega flow storage tank and a drayton (LP112) control

The problem I have is that the timer is set and the lights come on indicating that 'the boiler is on' but we get no hot water

The Si has an inbuilt heating thermostat that is set to 'summer' currently as we don't need heating, this can't be the issue can it?

Also, as an aside, can I get any type of control for this boiler, once its fixed, ie, one that lets me do heating and water independently for example?

have you noticed when you have the hot water selected your heating comes on?

Yes, the only way I can get the hot water on, is if I select the winter settings on the boiler and turn the heating thermostat up

sounds like zone valve mate check that be in your cylinder cupboard
