I have replaced the Diapragm & gland nut on the hot water switch which now works fine. After the CH has been used the plunger sticks in the on position after turning the tap off, causing the overheat shutdown to kick in. Could something in the Heating circuit be affecting the hot water circuit, or is it sticking for other reasons?

After the CH has been used the plunger sticks in the on position after turning the tap off,
can you clarify this, which plunger sticks, and after which demand?

Hot Water demand plunger that connects to the microswitch is sticking. It was stuck this morning after working fine all weekend, and the CH has not been on so it is now sticking intermittantly. Something must be affecting water flow to one side of the diapraghm to make it stick in the "on" position but I can't seem to find out what it could be. l
