Hi All, I have an old glow worm fuel saver F gas boiler I don't know the exact model, its either a 35, 45 or 55 F and I'm struggling to find someone to service it.

The boiler itself works ok however it is ( I believe ) 25 + years old and I have been told it may contain asbestos by a couple of boiler service companies I have contacted, they are not interested in doing any service work on it.

can these still be serviced or am I better off getting it replaced ?

I'm assuming its much less efficient than its modern counterparts.

Fantastic, simple little boiler that will do another 25yrs.
Take no notice of parasitic large companies, and snowflake youngsters, any gas bod in his 40's & older will service that with his eyes shut.

Might not be as efficient as new stuff, but they're bomb proof.

Try a few independents from the GS register.

An absolute basic boiler that can be stripped in minutes no it doesnt contain asbestos. I for one would not be changing it for the sake of change very reliable boiler only thing is with age of it most parts are obsolete
