I am currently without heating or hot water because my up-till-now reliable Glow worm Hideaway boiler will not activate. The pilot is lit and the pump appears to be running but it won’t fire up. I've turned both the boilers and wall thermostat up for maximum demand with no luck. The house is a 3 bed 1970's build with the hideaway at floor level in the kitchen, flue to roof. The system is open vented with a hot water cylinder in the upstairs airing cupboard. As far as i can tell the pump only serves the radiators and is wired via the wall thermostat. Thanks

Could be several things really.

It needs checking with a multimeter to see where the power to it is failing.

only do this if you are competent to work with 240VAC.
