Glow worm Swiftflow air leak seal

The heat resistant material that forms a seal around the internal inspection window of my swiftflow has disintigrated. Now when the fan runs on high after the hot water tap is turned off air is being sucked in around the glass and diverting the pilot flame away from the thermocouple so it turns off. What would be the best thing to use to seal the leak?

Turn the boiler off at The mains and call a gas safe engineer to have a look as it sounds like your boiler is unsafe and needs to be looked at
