The pilot light has gone out and when the Boiler try's to fire up it just clicks and I can't see a spark through the peep hole. The boiler is less than 5 years old and is connected to a Megaflow system. The boiler has an automatic pilot light is there anything I can do to get it going again.

What are possible solutions to an automatic system not igniting ?

suspect case (seal) needs removing to sort this so RGI job.

For some reason these have a habit of the ignition lead shorting to the case. May be as simple as this.

Just took the front cover off and it fired up straight away. Looks like it was the ignition lead shorting to the case. I will get an engineer (RGI) to look at it but at least we now have hot water.

Hopefully it will just need some electrical tape
