Not had much luck with my first post but I would like some information if possible from all you knowledgeable people.
I have a ultracom 38cxi condensing boiler 1 week old and Finding problems with the heating side. when the set point is reached for the boiler heating water s.p when it goes 2 degrees above this set point it goes into anti cycling period, the burner shuts down and just circulation takes place, is this a correct function, modulation only takes place when higher temp s.p are set on boiler (70 upwards)and it seems to come in late within 1 degree of s.p, is there any setting that will make modulation kick in earlier. I have reduced d.0 to 15 which is making the boiler run longer with not running as hard. could this be a flow problem, checked d.40 d.41 12degees between them, would the low return temp stop modulation kicking in.
this is doing my head in, info would be appriciated to allow me to understand how this boiler functions.
regards,
Switchmode.

I would think the most knowledgeable people to speak to would be glow worms technical help department. You will find the number in the service and installation manual which you should of had in your possession for about a week.

thanks for the reply mate, 50 pence a minute premium rate line to find out how the boiler works when you should get the info in the docs with the boiler, think not.
