I have installed a Gloworm Ultracom 30 HXI to an open vented system. I have used a Salus Programmer, Room Thermostat & Hot Water Cylinder Stat. I have connected the system using a Salus Wiring Centre on a "Y" Plan. I cannot get the hot water to heat up on it's own without the central heating being on. Any ideas ??

you have obviously not wired it up properly.
