Glowworm 24ci flashing F9 fault

Hello

My combination boiler (glowworm 24ci) is flashing the red light and displaying F9, it does this after turning the fan on but no flame seems to light.

The instructions do not point to what the F9 fault code represents and our plumber isn't too sure.

Any advise will be greatly appreciated as it is rather cold in here at the moment.

just had a look at the manual on the glowworm web site and on page 34 it tells you what the f9 fault is.
