Hi
As of yesterday my glowworm 24cxi combi boiler has developed a fault.
The central heating works fine however when the hot water is run and comes out of the tap ( hot ) the rcd fuse trips on my main house fuse board.
On resetting the fuse this will continue to happen until the hot water is switched off and just left on central heating.
Any help is greatly appreciated before I hand over my hard earned cash to glowworm!
Thanks again

Thanks for your quick reply!
Does the diverter valve for this model come in 1 piece?
Also is it a job for a gas engineer only?
Many thanks

no you can buy the head seperately, you can do it your self if your capable (only you know that) and finally I would get it confirmed that it is actually the valve head before spending ££s.

That great thanks I will have to get an engineer round tomorrow to confirm.
I have searched for the part and not had much luck any ideas wheres best to look?
Thanks again for all your help it's much appreciated

picasso is wrong if the diverter motor is blowing the fuses the cartridge is leaking into the motor so both will need replacing also the flow sensor is natorious on these get a gassafe engineer to check for moisture on the lead. picasso shouldnt be telling un qualefied people to repair there own boilers.

i didint tell him to do anything, I told him what I thought was wrong with his boiler, (as you did) no gas work involved so whats the problem with working on your own boiler ?

I am gessing that you are a gassafe engineer. so you should understand that with all the years of training we all have & the importance to know your way around a boiler, to ensure it is safe and in good working order. your also taking work off the engineers who should be doing this work.

if thats the case mate why did you post the valve is leaking or that the flow switch is notorius,?
