We have the above fitted and it has been working flawless for three years now, recently it started to lose pressure all the time meaning I had to re-pressurise it using the blue tap located underneath. We had the pressure valve replaced after it decided to spill its guts by releasing the pressure from the base of the unit, it popped what looked like a small black filter tube out.... Water everywhere.
It has been working for for two weeks but has now lost its pressure twice yesterday, I tried re-pressurising the system only to discover that in doing so meant water started to leak from the boiler. We now have no hot water or heating as I have had to shut the boiler down.
Anyone have anything like this before? If so how was it fixed?
