We inherited a glowworm 30cx boilerwhen we moved in about 18 months ago, its about 10 years old and has an intermittent fault with the hot water.
Occasionally when turning the hot tap on the boiler fires up for a second or so then shutsdown. The display flashes 0.0bar then it resets itself. Central heating is unaffected.
Its can happen at different times, sometimes first thing in the morning when i use the shower, sometimes it might be after using the hot water, turning the tap off then back on again after a short period of time.
No faults on the display when it happens.
The flow valve has been replaced but didn't fix the problem.
Any ideas what this could be?
It has had an F13 fault very infrequently, maybe twice in the last 6 months, last time about 2 months ago.
