Wonder if any of you guys can help.

I drained down the heating circuit to do some work on the system (resite a couple of radiators), and i've ended up damaging the plastic o-ring/gasket on the drain off valve plug (by overtightening I guess). This is constantly leaking now when I refill the system, so I need to either get a new o-ring for the plug, or replace the whole drain off assembly. The o-ring/gasket is slightly cone shaped and the drain plug is about 3 cm long with threads on about 1cm of the end.

I couldn't get any part numbers from the glowworm manuals, so appreciate any help with part numbers or recommendations on what I should do.

Boiler: Glowworm Hideaway 80
Location of drain valve: about 2/3rds down on front-left of Boiler on Flow.

Cheers Guys

you can get washers for them ;)

Yes, it's similar to that, but the drain off is actually at a right angle, with one end going into the boiler, and the other end on the flow pipe (and the drain off pointing down). Are these standard fittings then and not specific to individual models?

Where can I get the washers from and are they a standard size?

cheers!
