Hi everyone,
I'm after some advice please

putting a new boiler in to replace worcester 9.24.
Have decided on glowworm ultracom2.
Have a bungalow with 9 rads, 1 bathroom.

Q: Should I get 24 or 30 boiler? I guess its only for the rads as probably same heat exchanger for hot water.

Any disadvantage in oversizing? Might do loft conversion in future which would mean another 2 or 3 rads . . .

any comments welcome

The 24 will happily do it.
Both boilers modulate down to meet demand although I haven't looked I expect both boilers will modulate down to about 6kW.

The only extra you are paying for with the 30kW is the water delivery.
It will fill a bath about 30 seconds faster. Useful is you are wanting to drive a shower from the boiler as the boiler isn't working quite
as hard as the smaller one would have to. It will also get the radiators
up to temperature faster when the heating is switched on.

Go for a lifetime warranty with the ultracom I think 15 years warranty.
