Ever since i moved in to my new Barratt house (townhouse) which is built against a hill, so i have 3 storeys and my rear garden is level with the midddle floor - i have been itching to discover if i could access the void which is below my kitchen and dining room I got the plans and the room is huge, i have asked barratt on site engineers and they say it would be more like a cellar as it below the DPC, but that's fine i could deck the floor out and use it as a work shop and storage!
I can gain accesses through the back of the garage wall and also from inside the house on the lower floor, but before i proceed, how much (roughly) would it cost to disc cut out a door way and put in a lintal? - I can fit the timber for the door myself!
