Going to purchase 40sq m of porcelain floor tiles 300x600mm. I’ve been looking at adhesives, Mapei seeming to be one of the popular ones, especially as I’m keen to go for a slow set, long open/pot time as not being the fastest worker and such a big area I’d welcome avoiding rapid set.
It’s a mix of concrete and old quarry tile floor I’m going over. Any recommendations for a cheaper alternative to the £20/ bag Mapei slow set? The cheaper versions I’ve found seem to specify ceramic not porcelain.
