Gosport hospital

Indeed ^

I heard one guy telling his story about his father.

His father was at another hospital with a broken shoulder.

He was transferred to Gosport, for a few days to recuperate. He was fit enough to walk into the hospital.

3 days later dead, he had been given high doses of hydromorphine (heroin basically).

It's long been known that old people often go into hospital and get finished off. Not treated. This is one case where what's been widely believed has been shown to be true.

Perhaps the doctor concerned had a look at them and thought "too old. won't recover. no need to spin it out. let's get it over with"

Very sad.

Very sad but some people, like my grandma, would have happily taken that.

Obviously Notch's example is diffferent.
