Well im a clumsy s*** and when i was "testing" out my new system i kicked one of the speakers over. Hence a nice scratch and gouge on my speaker.

Samsung cant do nothing so i thought a bit of DIY , but then stopped there because i have never replaced anything plastic before.

So i need some help please.

Its a Gloss black finish.. Picture attached.

There is also a slight gouge will this require any filling at all ?

Or will it polish out ?

Thanks for the reply

I bet it wont sound as good as my new logitech Z5500 digital speaker system

Soft, lint free cloth and polish in small circles to remove the scratch gradually extending the area being polished.
Once this has been done polish over with the cloth wrapped around a good flat surface (wooden block).

Don't underestimate the time this will take if you want a really professional finish ... Several hours!

Happy polishing

Ahh cool , hope it works.

Any additional comments or tips are welcome.

I will give that polish a try.

Thanks

Greygate is actually an extremely fine abrasive which is why the sanding principle works a bit like the way TCut removes scratches from paint

least he can put it up on the wall though!

I personally dont think polishing will get rid of this , there is quite a chunk thats dented.

Any other ideas ?

What would the profession be called of someone who could fix this ?

What kind of shop could fix this ?

thanks

Buy another from a different store and send your damaged one back to the store and tell them that it was damaged when you got it and you demand a refund. A tad dishonest though.
