Just bought a buy to let bungalow that has smooth internal hollow doors.
I usually install hollow grained doors in our properties and paint them brilliant white
The existing doors are working ok with no warp etc and closing perfect, they are just a bit yellow because of age. They must be from the 80s as I know the 1960s original doors were solid hardwood and very heavy
The neighbour just changing his doors and he has 6 x grained white hollow doors in very good condition.
Would you prefer the grained ones or just sand and paint the existing ones. Usually I want all our properties to look modern and new.
What would you do would you get into the hassle or replacing with neighbours grained one or just stick with the smooth doors ?
