Hi All,

I have a problem with my boiler. I had a leak and the expansion vessel was punctured, I drained the system, fixed the leak, replace the expansion vessel with a new one and then refilled the system. On first start the boiler tripped the circuit breaker everytime either the hotwater or the central heating kicked in. I left it overnight in case there was moisture, checked the flow switch, control panel chocblock and the motor connections and they were all dry. On powering on it started to fire for a wee while then just stopped and wont do anything. I have power going to the control unit, checked it at the choc block. Any ideas?

Thanks

Simon

Sounds like you have water somewhere on an electrical connector.

Pump would be a typical problem. Check under the cover.

You could try disconnecting the pump and see if it then runs and fires.
If water has got into the pump could be new pump time.

Thanks, found the pump to be broken, new one in just testing, fingers crossed!
