hi, i admit to not knowing much about gardening so need some kind hearted sole to pass on some wisdom.
I've removed woodchip from a section of garden that runs the length of my garden (30ft) along side of the fence. There were loads of weeds that i have now killed off. I've dug up the soil to turn it (not sure if i needed to do that) and now trying to flatten it with a rake and shovel.
the next bit i'm not sure about - should i lay top soil and then add grass seed ? Is there anything else i should be considering ?
