The rear of the house has a sort of wasted space to the side due to an extension put in before we moved in. At the moment it is decked but not to a good standard and parts are rotting.
No good for much else as there is no sun due to extension and generally a complete waste of space. Im thinking of removing the decking and putting gravel down to be used as a garden storage area away from the main shed. BBQ, Metal bike shed and easy access tools etc.

Im thinking of membrane, a couple inches of MOT, followed by some decorative gravel. To make a decent base for the bike shed etc on, to rest a few paving slabs on top of the gravel...Would these need to be secured properly.

The only foot traffic around here would be access to bikes etc. Few and far between

Any help appreciated
