Hi all
I’d like to add concrete gravel boards between my existing concrete posts which currently have wooden fence panels between them.
Now whoever put them up must have been drunk as one is slightly tilted, and another is slightly ‘twisted’ relative to its partner.
This means that, a concrete, fixed, firm block, might not fit between my posts in the same way as wood might, which has a little bit of bend and ‘give’.
So my question is, how forgiving is it when it comes to installing concrete gravel boards? The slot in my posts is 1cm ish wider than then boards themselves so it seems I’d have a little bit of play afforded by that.
I’m hoping I can angle grind off parts of the board to make it fit.
Am I overthinking this, is there usually enough discrepancy between sizes to allow for some wiggle room, or so this posts need to be cock on and exact to work with concrete boards?
