Gravel driveway - best depth and size ?

Hi, I dug out my old driveway with Kubota, just finishing edging with old blocks and am planning on stoning it after Type 1.

Question is I like the look of the smaller pea gravel ive seen on some drives looks like 10mm.

1. Does the smaller gravel get stuck in the tyres ?

2. If i get smaller gravel in bulk bags does it not go as far as say 20mm gravel ? i mean will i need more ?

3.What depth gravel is recommended on top of Type 1 ?

about 50mm should be fine to drive over. 10mm will be too small

I find 35-50mm very awkward to walk over

i was talking about the depth of gravel at 50mm, not the size of it!
