Turkey has been coping with its refugee problem for years.
The reason for the latest spike in irregular immigration to Europe is because theTurks have decided to encourage it in order to extract concessions from the EU.
Erdoğan said he would not stop illegal immigration from Turkey to Europe and now he has done it.
Turkey and the EU along with other states who encouraged armed groups to overthrow the Syrian government bear responsibility for the bulk of illegal immigration into Europe.
These refugees are just pawns in a power game between nations.
