green back and farward arrow?

ive been and altered some settings on me comp/ .windows xp. version 2002.
ive lost the green arrow top left and right of screen , to go back or farward from page im on/. i now have to click on the x at top right to close page and then start all over again .. .what do i do to put it right ?. regards. r.r.

pleased to say ive sorted it now, so problem solved.
done a restore . dunno what i done wrong , but sorted anyway. cheers. r. r.

You have lost your Standard Toolbar, if lost on Windows Explorer, select View/Toolbars/Standard Buttons

That should bring them back

yes thanks for that kahtty/ i see what you mean / it does indeed sort the problem out, if i had only waited a while longer for a reply i could have saved doing a restore back a couple of days/ cheers. r.r.
