Have car manufacturers produced the perfect motor-one that puts out more power than you put in? This is the only way they can produce a petrol electric green car! As there is no such thing as a 100% efficient motor it must take more fuel to charge a battery to run the car than to use the fuel to power the car direct. I have no doubt the green pundits and car makers will rubbish this claim but if they have discovered perpetual motion they will not waste it on a green car-they will exloit it for billions.
