At some point the join has been leaking and green corrosion has formed, see picture. Its no longer leaking but whats the best form of action, just leave it or clean it up. If i clean it then what with? I add inhibitor to the heating system each year which hopefully will prevent further corrosion.

Clean with a bit of wire wool and see if it comes back.

It's not necessary to add more inhibitor every year and it can actually be detrimental in too high a concentration. Too much inhibitor increases conductivity which can lead to electrolytic corrosion
