Heya. Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I am completely baffled with setting the timing for the economy 7, so was wondering if you could have a look at what I have done. I get no hot water at the moment on this setting, the manual is useless. I am presuming that the pins that I have pulled out are for the set time, between 12am and 7am? I did this for mon to sun, but the dial does not move, is it meant to? I also set the time for what it was when I put the settings in, is this right? I have discovered if I put it on continuous I do get some hot water but I am worried about the cost of doing this, and if I do that do I just put the continuous on at night then turn the timer off in the morning?

Lots of questions I know, sorry!

If anyone can help, thank you! thank you! thank you!

I don't know this model, with some types, the pins are pushed in for 'on' if you rotate the dial by hand, It' possible that the lever just to the right of the centre may move from '1' to '0' as the switching times are reached. If so, you can check.

Yes the dial should move to show the correct day and time where the triangular shaped pointer is. Also, the clock hands in the centre should tell the correct time.

No the time should be the current real time

Sounds to me like the motor may have failed and is not turning the clock mechanism. Time for a new one I'm afraid.
