Hello, can anyone assist please?

I'm erecting a greenhouse at my allotment and wanting a substantial base to sit it on. The total footing size is 8x6x414 inches. I'm looking to build forms to raise it up a couple of inches from ground level. Can someone please advise me the amount of concrete I'd need and what mix? In laymen terms how much sand, cement, hardcore? Etc. I've tried the many calculation sites but they aren't specific enough. Thanks a lot.

Concrete is seriously over the top for any greenhouse.

If you want it raising a little and have a suitable base that would support the greenhouse anyway just use some cheap bricks outlining the footprint and mortar to hold them in place.

Thanks Dan.

The reason I wanted to use concrete is its very exposed at our allotment hence wanted to bolt it down to a concrete base. I was originally thinking of using standard concrete block but trying to way up costs v effort (bad back). It's a solid, toughened glass greenhouse I got for a bargain on ebay and would hate to lose it to high winds. Cheers.
