Hi,

My boiler is loosing pressure. I can top it up to 2 bar and in a couple of days it's down near zero. I have checked the radiator valve for leaks and the pipe work to the boiler. All seems OK. I'm only hoping there isn't a big surprise building up in the ceiling!!!!
So, if there is a problem with the pressure vessel where does the water escape?

Have you checked the pressure relief valve pipework? There should be a 15mm copper pipe running from the boiler ending outside. Sometimes water can escape from here, and by tying a plastic bag or bottle over the pipe will show it up.
