Hi, I've never noticed this before ....

We had our boiler serviced today, and the engineer mentioned that gas flow was dipping below 19. The British Gas person came around and replaced the regulator. He then reset the boiler.

I've noticed that when the heating is on the display flashes between the temperature and a funny symbol that look like two letter T's side on :

-I I-

Is this normal ? If not, what should I do.

Syphon fill programme. Comes on when power has been switched off, it should only last for 15 minutes or so. Perfectly normal.

What isn't normal is British Gas changing the governer ;)

Thanks for the info.

The British Gas guy replaced the regulator on the mains supply coming into the meter at the front of the house.

He then reset the boiler as he had turned off the gas.

It has stopped flashing and all seems well.

Thanks again.

Thank goodness for the internet and for you two. I nearly went mad, I thought the thing was on the blink :)
