Grey grouting not dark enough

Hi

I've had my kitchen floor tiled with slate grey tiles, and grouted with grey grouting. The problem is that this has dried somewhat lighter than I was expecting, and is not giving the effect I wanted.

Now that this is done & dried, is there any non-destructive way to darken it ?

You could always rub some vegetable oil into it. That certainly darkened my grey grout in the kitchen when I dropped the chip pan. It'll give it the same colour it had before it dried.
