Can anyone offer any advice on this prob? please.

I have a leak to repair in an apartment, it has been fitted out with
grey plactic pipe with this coding on it? 22mm / 2.0mm me-x barrier and all the fittings are crimped? not sure if it's pollybutylene?

The crimping has failed just wondered if it's possible to repair with grey 22mm pipe and pushfit fitting? abit concerned about the sizes of the inserts
if I cut this pipe i'm stuck with it

Yes just cut either side of the leaking fitting and use 2 straight pushfit connectors.

If the pipe is 22mm then 22mm inserts will fit, can be bought from most DIY shops.

Use Poly B pipe.

How many fittings are crimped? These are nasty and highly prone to failing.

Hi thanks for the tip, all the grey pipes are crimped was a bit worried about the inside diameter inserts not fitting?
