Gritting problems....not here

Credit where credit is due, woke up this morning to at least 3 inches of snow having fallen overnight in Edinburgh. Unbelievably every main road had been cleared and I even saw a pavement plough at 6.30am.

This was the same situation in Glasgow.

Congratulations to the authorities - they were definitely ready.

Ditto - had 3 - 4 inches of snow last night in the High Peak, Derbyshire. All main roads are clear this morning and back roads are 'passable' if a little 'interesting'!! To be fair, the main roads here were kept pretty well clear last week too.
