I've got some flex running through the side of a cabinet to a socket and want to tidy up where the cable passes through the cabinet.

The cable is standard flex with the hole being a couple of mm bigger, can anyone suggest a grommet or something I can put in the hole to tidy it up?

TV cable installers fit those disc things round cables where they pass through holes.

Depends what size the hole and cable is really. You can get 12mm and 16mm stuffing glands.

You don’t say what the cabinet’s made of, if it’s particularly thick you might struggle to get the locknut on the other side.

A grommet is only really useful when a cable passes through a hole in a metal item
