I have this make of pump on my heating system which has been installed horizontal for about 5 years, its been working fine.

However I was told by a friend it shouldv'e been installed vertically. Does it really matter?

Thanks

"where pumps can only be installed in horizontal pipework, it is imperative that the pump shaft is horizontal or slightly ***Higher @ The Vent Plug End "*** Grundfos installation instructions . So what do you dip :?:

i personaly lean the head just off center so the back of the bleed nut is higher, thats just though personal experiance. its easyer to bleed it up coz theres a corner at a higher point.
