Grundfos Seclectric Pump question

Hi,

Havent had hot water or heating since sat am. Boiler keeps tripping out and after reset keeps for about 20-30 secs and goes off again (trips)

Sounds like the pump not kicking in. I have the above pump and it was set to 2. turned it to 3 and it the whole system worked straight off? Boiler started and everything seems to be okay.

What are three 3 settings (i find in web searches that it is different speeds for different systems) but if it works now, is that bad?

It sounds as if your pump is very old and failing.

Most systems should have the pump on setting "2".

Even so most boilers should have been able to manage themselves. Profiles excepted.
