hello
We are in the process of putting a ground source heat pump in - its a greenline e6 from ice energy.
In the first fix we have put down ufh downsatirs and double rads upstairs. There are 6 zones and thermostats with the ufh.
Question
Ice energy has told us its best for the heat pump if the circuit is open and no inteference with stats. Electrician agrees with this, we could put two stats in without needing a 40l buffer tank.
Plumber thinks its best to have all stats and purchase the nessary tank, It will not save any electric using stats tho.I do have tiles in 50% and then engineered oak on ground floor
Thoughts please?
