i am under the home renovation project..since i not aware of the house painting experience before i don't how to start.. as a newbie do i use brush or roller for painting
Usually a brush for woodwork and a roller for emulsion (walls and ceilings). But even with walls and ceilings, you still need a brush for cutting in where two colours meet.
Get a medium pile 9" microfibre roller sleeve the right diameter for the holder, plus a smaller 4" one for fiddlier bits.
Get synthetic fibre brushes for water based or acrylic paints, and bristle or all-purpose ones for oilbased paints. If the work is indoors I'd recommend not using oil based unless you are experienced.
