Hi Forum,

After some advice, the end of my guttering had fallen off or broken off and I am wanting to fix it. I have few local trades people come around but not many are interested in small jobs.

Any thoughts on what to order and how to go about fixing this.

I have measure the width of the broken unit and it is about 10.5cms
Thanks in advance

You need one of these

for the gutter end but different manufacturers make different shapes and dimensions. So take the old one off and go to your local shed or better a plastic supplier or plumbers merchant and compare before you buy to ensure you have the correct part. Looking at the pic it may have been glued on and you may need a short length of gutter to go to the running outlet
A piece of this may be handy to cover the broken brick but I suspect it may need more than that looking at your first 2 pics.

Thanks, the cap link says 114mm, when I measure it feels more like 105mm

I will try and get the broken part out and take to local merchant.

Actually there is no broken part, the end cap although weathered is sealed and glued in place.

Looks like the end had some sort of plaster or cement blobbed.

Something doesn't 'feel' right in your images.

The Gutter end cap is definitely broken and needs replacing.
But the section of gutter from the down outlet to the stop end also needs replacing. I note that there is sealer smeared around the joints which indicates that either the rubber seal was not there or when the gutter assembled was displaced.
The section from the down outlet isn't long enough - it should extend to the face of the brickwork; where the broken brick end is, that should be covered, Maybe a bit of mortar could cover the end of the brick. Is there Flashing over the brickwork? From under the wall covering to over the edge of the brick wall.

More photo's will help.

The facia supporting the gutter, under the damaged end of the gutter, is showing rot. The end run of the gutter, to the stop end is unsupported.
All those issues need resolving for a complete leakproof job.

Your gutter is, I think, Flowpast RGS3 in Grey.

So what do you mean by " the end of my guttering had fallen off or broken off "
