guttering(plastic to cast iron)

i am going to replace my old cast iron guttering with pvc .where it joins onto next doors cast iron guttering is there a special fitting to join plastic to cast iron or do i just use a special solvent or filler to join them?

An alternative method...

Ensure that the fall of the guttering is away from the end stop!

Cut the old cast guttering with an angle grinder at the boundry and make an end plate from facia booardso it sits neatly into the old guttering. Thoroughly clean the area and silicon the new piece in the end to form an end stop.

I've used this method before when it was not practical any other way.

Is there any adhesive required to fit these brackets? I can find numerous suppliers on the web, but practically no information about them.
