I've got a ideal classic lxrs boiler with a honeywell t4o thermostat and a honeywell st6400c timer. the h/w comes on ok, but c/h is called for the boiler doen't fire, the thermostat is at its highest. when left on constant the c/h has come on 4hrs later. rooms are cold throughout this.

what's the difference ??,I've got 2 water tanks in the loft,thermostat in the hallway, boiler in the garage,timer in the kitchen. I can get hot water ok, but i dont think its the timer as i swapped over the h/w and c/h wires to test. The boiler will not fire up when asking for c/h and the thermostat is at its highest setting
