Hi there, thank you for reading this
I took down an internal wall at the weekend (I'd already checked with a structural engineer that it wasn't a supporting wall and that I was ok to bring it down - he confirmed that it was fine )
What I hadn't expected was to see a drop in the floor of 1.5 to 2cm and the damp proof course lining the bottom
Please could someone tell me what to do? Do I put some self leveling concrete straight over the top and make it level with the rest of the floor?
Also, there are three nails butt up (sharp end up) coming through the DPC. I've not tried to get them up with pliers, but I could. Do I need to do anything to seal the DPC?
Thank you in advance for any advice!!
