Following the integration of our lobby/utilty area into our kitchen (which required raising the floor), I now have a level floor of which half is wooden floorboards. These butt up against the new raised concrete floor and the two surfaces are level. However I want to lay vinyl throughout and whilst I can lay 4mm plywood on the wooden floor, I want to continue across the concrete so I still have a smooth surface.

I appreciate I will need to lay a thin damp membrane on the concrete, but how should I fix the plywood to the concrete? I thought about some form of glue, or even masonry pins?!

New kitchen arrives Tuesday so any help will be appreciated!!

Thanks

plywood is for wooden bases not concrete. You need to use levelling compound on concrete and flexible levelling compound between the two different subfloors. (plywood to concrete)
