just been to look at a halstead eden 30 sbx no central heating but got hot water which pointed in the direction of the diverter value can see you got the hydrovalue and the diverter motor listed as 2 separate parts spoke to technical to see if they could throw some light on it for me as to which one is at fault motor of value guy said to remove motor and stick fingers up inside hydrovalue if play there then its ok asked how much play said 2mm so none the wiser anyone worked on these? removed the diverter motor and did as instructed impossible to say if 2mm of not ha any clues of tests to do on motor to rule it out ?

:? what happened to fullstops etc. first off all, is the boiler firing for central heating. the motor is pretty simple. its just a stepper motor, that closes the ch port off when a hot water demand is called for.

sorry just re read your post. i was thinking cbx. i presume your on about the system boiler with optional internal divertor.have you checked external controls.

rushing earlier mate, its zoned off for first floor and second floor with 2 port values which appear to open when calling for heat so hopefully that eliminates those?yes its the system boiler model :) guy in the technical seemed to think the hydrovalue was blocked or something along those lines?

basic checks first, would be to make sure the boilers getting the switch live from the external controls.before going down the route of finding fault with the boiler. e.g with a multimeter.
