Hi peeps have a problem with our boiler. We have had this boiler powerflushed couple of times and also 6 months ago had the secondary heat exchanger replaced. We still seem to get hard black deposit in the secondary heat exchanger! It is only in one which I presume is the water side as the central heating was working fine. I took the heat exchanger out and cleaned it as much as I could but I know this will come back. Also we have had a scalemaster fitted, I dont know how good they are? Can anyone suggest what I could do.
We also have this new problem where if we have the heating on then we get hotwater but soon you turn the heating off and you want hot water the boiler locks out. Can anyone suggets what we do as I have had Homes**** send out their approved contractor out twice but they left with out actually diagnosing the problem. As everytime they arrived the problem seemed to have cured?? Is it me or are they just trying to avoid the cost? Thanks any response appreciated.
