Hi everyone,
I've had various problems with this boiler for a while now. However, an underlying issue has always been very hot water. It wasn't really an issue before, but now my daughter is of the age where she can reach the taps and turn them on I want to see if there is anything I can do to resolve this. The knobs on the front of the boiler don't seem to have any effect on the water temperature no matter whether they are turned all the way down or up.
Just to give some background on the boiler, I've had the diverter valve replaced, a new remote expansion vessel, the venturi has been cleaned and a new PCB has been fitted with new electrodes.
As you can see there have been various problems with this boiler, but the water temp issue has always been there throughout. Even with the new PCB the knobs on the front of the boiler did not affect the water temp (the PCB was fitted to cure the typical ignition lockout issue on this boiler)
Any advice is appreciated
Thanks in advance.
Simon
PS The hot water has always had a milky appearance when it comes from the tap, although I seem to remember reading somewhere that this may be due to air bubbles. Thought I'd mention it in case it was relevant...
