Hi,

I am about to scrape all the crappy dry mix out from between my flags and painstaking re grout with a moist sand cement mix.

Do I need to wear gloves when handling this mix, obviously I hope most of it will be applied with a trowel.

thanks!

If you are skilled then your hands shouldn't get too dirty. Although the fact that you are asking the question suggests that you will end up a bit mucky!

You should wear gloves, although you will lose dexterity and they will probably get soaked/torn.

As you don't do this day in/day out you should be ok if you rinse your hands frequently and apply plenty of moisturising hand cream before/after.

Joe-90 should be able to recommend a good brand of hand cream, I hear he gets through loads of it
