Hi im about to fit a new handrail cant make my mind up between a round wood handrail or a brushed nickel, any thoughts ? and what sort of screws size etc to mount it with, its the rail fitted to the wall side.

Ant tips for fitting would also be appreciated.

Wood, definitely

No, hang on, nickel

No, no, too much cleaning, wood is better

But its more maintenance .....

HTH

Minimum 50mm Nr10 screws though and brown plugs

Thanks for that 'still' not sure what screws to use, i guess they should be chrome or stainless to match the brushed nickel, been looking through screwfix but not sure which ones, anyone give me a screwfix code of what i need ???

cheers
